'Les Pierres Blanches', Giboulot, Cote de Beaune AC (Burgundy)
This beauty from the southerly part of the Cote d'Or stood out in our recent Burgundy range review. It comes from the obscure and very small Cote de Beaune appellation, located on a hill above Beaune. Its rich and fairly full with ripe raspberry aromas, some tasty oak and delicious savoury notes. We summarised it as harmonious, rounded, smooth and deep - impressive as well as interesting. Try it with Emmenthal!
