About Organic Ghee

Organic Ghee, is a delicious healthy and nourishing cooking oil. This organic ghee is made from fresh organic milk produced by small dairy herds living on pristine organic pastures. Ghee, also known as clarified butter, is a healthy cooking oil due to its content of essential fatty acids which are an essential part of our diets.

It is rich in easy-to-digest short chain fatty acids and vitamins A, D, E and K. It also contains 3% Linoleic acid which has antioxidant properties. Ghee has a high smoke point which makes it great for cooking, particularly as it does not produce damaging free radicals. Ghee is suitable for people who are sensitive to lactose as the heating procedure used to clarify the butter removes the lactose content. Use ghee as a delicious oil for cooking or stir into rice and vegetables for a nourishing flavoursome taste.

elfree This adds a more authentic taste to Indian curries than cooking with oil. It is quite expensive, but a jar lasts quite a while and can be stored in the fridge for longevity. It really does taste (and smell) great and that taste permeates throughout the meal - it makes a big difference, but in a subtle way. My only problem was that towards the end of the jar it started to get too cold in the fridge and was hard to scoop out of the jar - a bit like honey crystallising in the cold.
