About Psyllium Husks Powder
Psyllium husks are a natural soluble fibre known to absorb 20 times their own weight in water, they form a soft gel which continues to absorb in the intestinal tract. This helps to clear toxins and prevents them from staying too long in the colon. Psyllium husks are an ideal source of fibre for those that have an intolerance to wheat. They can have a soothing effect on sensitive bowels where fibre from wheat can prove to be too abrasive. Psyllium husks are totally natural and safe. They are used by millions of people throughout the world. They are absorbed by the body and do not stimulate in any way, they are therefore suitable for prolonged use.
Have one tablespoon mixed in with cereals, mueslis or yoghurts.
