Real Foods presents a wide range of samples from iQ Chocolate - made using the finest single origin sundried criollo beans from Peru, chosen for their generous fruity flavour. IQ chocolate has a minimum of 72% raw cocoa.
The chocolate is stoneground, at low temperatures, keeping it raw. Some taste bud tingling this week. Peppersmith make high quality natural chewing gum and mints with fine UK grown peppermint. Their products have no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives nor aspartame. They also sweeten them with naturally derived xylitol which (as it helps kill bacteria in your mouth that can cause tooth decay) has helped them become British Dental Health Foundation accredited: "Eat Peppersmith mints and gum for healthier teeth".

Kate Magic, author and raw guru, will be returning to Real Foods for a fun and inspiring evening of superfoods & tips for a healthier life. Kate has over 20 years experience in raw food and regularly delivers talks and workshops on how to improve health with living foods. She explains what makes a 'superfood', guiding us through the properties of these powerful foods and advising on the best ways to add them to our diets.

Plantain, a starchy variety of banana, comes from the Amazon Rainforests in Southern Equador. Zamora's are launching a new product, 3 flavours of Fairtrade plantain crisps - the only Fairtrade certified plantain chips in the UK. Come and try something different, they go with a lot of things!

We will have an Antipodes nutritionist sampling some of their skincare products on Saturday and offering expert advice on skincare "Bioactive botanical ingredients are carefully selected for performance and blended with nutrient-rich avocado oil to help powerfully anti-age your skin" They are scientifically proven, protein-rich formulations, whilst environmentally friendly - certified organic - raw ingredients from certified organic orchards & grown and harvested with minimal impact on the environment, and support renewable use of the land for the generations to come. Local producer Chilipapas will be cooking up a spicy storm at Real Foods' Tollcross store.Chilipapa Darren will be offering samples of his healthy spice mixes, showing how you can stay slim and trim while enjoying delicious savoury curries at the right price.
